Zachary D. Rife
Zachary Rife is an American veteran, community activist, and a student of Liberty University’s School of Behavioral Sciences where he studies Psychology and is preparing for graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He intends on continuing his education after completing his graduate studies by training and conducting research at the doctoral level in Counselor Education & Supervision as well as Psychology. Prior to pursuing higher-education, he began serving in the U.S. Army (Virginia Army National Guard) in 2013 as an enlisted Military Police Officer while also volunteering to provide military funeral services as a member of the Honor Guard until the end of his service in 2021. Throughout his civilian career, he has worked in the management consulting industry where he provided various analytics, process improvement strategy, and outsourced operational services to clients in the manufacturing, electronic security, and financial services industries. After a workforce reduction in January 2024, Zachary continued his full-time dedication to higher education while also filling his free-time with volunteer community service through his Lions Club as well as the Hiltons Volunteer Fire Department where he is a Volunteer Firefighter. In addition to community service, Zachary also enjoys spending his free time engaging as a member of various historical societies such as the Society for Descendants of the Mayflower, the Sons of the Revolution, and the Sons of Confederate Veterans where he is proud to honor his heritage and great American family history. He and his wife, Brianna, also share several hobbies in appreciation of the fine arts, agriculture, and forestry where they spend the rest of their free time as a family devoted to wildlife conservation, public performances with the State Line Wind Symphony, and self-sufficient living through the development of their homestead.
